Im not talking about the language, I'm talking about the dialect and accent. Hebrew is a Semitic language. Yet modern Hebrew doesn't sound like Arabic. It sounds more like Yiddish (Hebrew + German) because that's the origin of it. I wouldn't compare standard Arabic in general to the ancient Semitic languages. You would have to compare them with classical Arabic and then you will see the difference.
Not really at all. Your just misinterpreting the argument that I gave. You said that The reason why Arabic and old levantine languages sound similar is because they're both Semitic languages. What I told you was that isn't exactly the case. If you look into any reconstruction of the old levantine languages (which you haven't) they will sound similar to the dialect of the levantine languages. If you take Classical Arabic which is the actual ancient form of Arabic you will notice that their is a difference. I mean just compare Classical Arabic to modern Arabic. You will see how different it is and how it sounds to modern Arabic (especially levantine Arabic). You even provided me evidence from a linguistic expert. All you did was call it "bullshit" without even giving it any actual counter evidences. If what your saying is correct. Than provide me with evidence. Because ironically you already provided my evidence which further supports the points that I made.
