^Saw this on Twitter. All the meninists were claiming he (Jordan Peterson) was totally crushing the interviewer so I had to watch. Tried to watch with completely objective eyes and to me he's the one arguing badly only spewing absurdities, dishonesty and generalizations. Like seriously what does he even want? Seems like he thinks it's a negative thing for women to be "feminine" but at the same time he thinks men and women are just too different. Why is he too cowardly to admit that he simply doesn't want women and men to be equal? Instead he blames women having lower wage on women being "more agreeable and orderly" personality wise. The thing is when us women start being demanding we are deemed as "bitchy" which isn't seen as a desirable trait. Also the fact that female dominated occupations have lower status and are almost always low-paid jobs (even though these jobs often are VERY important for the society to go round and function). When a traditionally female occupation starts getting more men in the workplace the wages will go up and the men will take over. If that isn't discrimination then I dunno what is...
Got to love how he talks for women Apparently we want men as partners who dominate us (otherwise we'll get miserable) and we have to have our life completely together at 35.
The thing I can agree with him on is that postmodernism has gone way too far. I also don't like the censoring going on on campuses and the rule that the "offended is always right". In this part the interviewer is starting to lose it and doesn't seem to have done her research completely. But loool at his comparisons between trans activists and Soviet and Chairman Mao. According to him Communist Soviet was about "identity politics" okaaayyyy.... Stick to psychology and not history.
I've always claimed that psychology is pseudo-science btw lol. I don't trust most psychologists.
Those who claim Jordan Peterson is an intellectual giant have low demands.
